A Mentor/Mentee is relationship building within the Toastmasters Mentoring program. This is why Mentoring Matters, because of the growth opportunities as a speaker and leader you grow and you learn about the importance of the tool that Toastmasters have to offer in your club membership.
A Mentor is a seasoned speaker and leader who takes a club member from where they are to the next level; however, Mentee must take the lead on their needs and take ownership of developing their speaking skills by working out of the Pathways Education Program, preparing speeches, and listening to the feedback of their Mentor to take their speaking and leadership skills to the next level.
